Expanding WILD
When a WILD symbol appears on the roof reel, it expands to all positions on most of the playing field below it. The WILD symbol also replaces the Hanzo symbol on the roof reels. If 3 WILD symbols appear on the roof reels, the Hanzo Free Spins feature is activated, and 3×3 WILD symbols appear.
Roof reels
Above the main playing field, there is another smaller playing field, one row and three reels in size. This playing field contains its own symbols:
3 Hanzo symbols appearing on the roof reels activate the Hanzo Free Spin feature and trigger 3 bonus spins on the main game board. During the bonus spins, one symbol is randomly selected and appears on all reel positions 2, 3 and 4 (as a 3×3 stacked symbol) where it will remain for the duration of the Hanzo Free Spin. The Free Spins symbol that appears on the roof reels has the same function as the Free Spins symbol that appears on the playing field, except that it provides one extra bonus spin and a Free Spin Booster. When the Hanzo Free Spins or Free Spins feature is active, it is displayed as Free Spins +1 and awards one additional free bonus spin.
