Can I increase the chances of winning in Euromillions?
It’s almost impossible to increase the chances of winning because it’s pure mathematics/probability and you can’t get around that. But they can be helped a little, take a look below at two ways to improve your odds of winning in Euromillions. The only two ways to increase the odds of winning are:
bet more columns on one bet
bet more full bets at once
There is no guide on how to win the Euromillions lottery. The only way to increase your chance of winning and lean closer to the odds is to bet more columns on one bet or place multiple bets. Each bet column forms a unique seven-digit (5+2) combination, which may be the one that will eventually be drawn in the draw. The more unique seven-number combinations bet, the higher the chance that one of them will be a winning one.
Euromillions Additional Numbers – Lucky Stars
The so-called Lucky Stars are additional numbers that you choose in the second part of each bet column. From a possible 12 numbers (1-12), you will choose 2 numbers, which are called Lucky Stars in the Euromillions lottery. Based on these numbers, the winnings in the selected winning orders are determined – see the winnings table above. For example, to win the jackpot you have to match all 5 basic numbers and exactly two Lucky Stars.
Millionaire Maker additional game
You automatically participate in the additional game called Millionaire Maker when you place a bet. Each bet has its unique code consisting of four letters and five numbers. One of all codes entered is then drawn in each draw, shortly after the lottery numbers, and the holder of that code automatically wins £1,000,000. Attention! The order of numbers and letters depends on the drawn code, your code must match perfectly to be sure that you have won.
This bonus game does not have its own winnings table, since the Millionaire Maker win is already included in the main winnings table.
Super Raffle
The Super Raffle is a special draw within the UK Millionaire Maker that offers more winning codes and increases players’ chances of winning. These draws are often organized during special occasions and are funded by the EuroMillions reserve fund. The Super Raffle serves as an effective marketing tool to increase interest in the lottery and drive ticket sales.
Probability of winning the Millionaire Maker spin-off game
While in the main game of the Euromillions lottery, the probability of winning is fixed by the number of existing number combinations, of which one, the winning one, is drawn, in the additional game Millionaire Maker the probability is not fixed. In this game, 1 code is drawn from as many codes (bets) as are bet on the given draw. The number of tickets bet is influenced by many factors, but among the most important is the amount of the jackpot in the following draw (4× roll-over). However, the number of tickets wagered also affects the day of the draw, as a rule, more tickets are wagered before and during the weekend than on weekdays.
Below we bring you a table with the approximate probability of winning in this additional game. Please note that the values in the table are approximate and that they change with each draw.
Draw
Odds of winning
Tuesday – regular draw
1 : 3 500 000
Friday – regular draw
1 : 5 000 000
Tuesday- 4× roll-over (biggest jackpot)
1 : 4 700 000
Friday- 4× roll-over (biggest jackpot)

Euromilions Super Draw a rezervní fond
The Reserve Fund in EuroMillions is an important tool that ensures the stability and attractiveness of the lottery. It is used to increase jackpots, finance winnings, stabilize winning categories and support special events and promotional activities. The fund is made up of part of the revenue from ticket sales and is used as needed to ensure that EuroMillions remains an attractive and stable lottery for players.
How does the Euromillions draw work?
As we have already revealed above, the Euromillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 8 p.m. The entire draw takes place with the help of people certified by the relevant authorities. In the first draw, 50 balls with numbers from 1 to 50 are driven by pressure, and in the second draw, there are so-called Lucky Stars, i.e. numbers from 1 to 12, from which they draw two. You can watch the entire draw on the company’s YouTube channel. The lottery results are usually released to the world between 21:00 and 21:30 when you can read them on our website, on the lottery website, in the app or you can be among the first to learn about them on the mentioned YT channel.
Euromillions lottery subscription
Before we go into a detailed description of how and where you can bet on this lottery, we have to tell you some information about the subscription that Euromillions offers you.
In the Euromillions lottery, you have the option to decide whether you want to place your bet, an online one or a physical one, only on the next draw or whether you want to place it on several next draws.
Subscription options within Euromillions
only for the next draw
for a specific number of subsequent draws
by Direct Debit
The option to bet on the next draw is clear and does not need to be described at length. In short, every bet entered into the lottery, unless you change it, is bet on one of the nearest draws.
Betting on a specific number of draws is a bit trickier, but nothing you couldn’t understand in a few sentences. As a part of the Euromillions lottery bet, you can decide whether you want to bet on Tuesday, Friday or on both draws of the week, and then you can decide how many weeks in advance you want to place the bet. You have a choice of 1 – 4 weeks with two draws per week. You can thus subscribe to a bet up to 8 draws in advance.
If you happen to think that eight draws are not enough, you still have a third option and that is to bet by Direct Debit. This option means that your bet is automatically refreshed and placed again every week, and you are charged for this process at monthly intervals. You don’t have to worry about missing any draw or not being able to place your bet in time, a bet made by Direct Credit will always make sure that this can never happen to you.
