Strategy Principle

The whole principle of the strategy is that after each loss you increase your bet by one unit and as soon as you win you reduce your bet by one unit. You continue in this way until the time you set expires, after reaching the desired win or your bank is exhausted.

• The main goal of this strategy is to limit losses during black streaks (losing streaks) and to make a profit during winning ones.
• The D’Alembert strategy is based on the principle of balance. It is also much simpler and less risky than, for example, Martingale, which is why it is suitable for beginners or those who want to play safe. By definition, it is a negative progressive strategy. Although the d’Alembert physical system can be confusing to some, the strategy derived from it is not so terrible. The strategy is only applied to even bets (red/black, even/odd, high/low 18), i.e. bets that have the same probability of winning and losing (50/50). It may not be effective for others. As with other strategies, it is first necessary to determine the value of one bet that you will play with. Be sure to also set a time period or limit that you are not willing to exceed.

You can see from both examples that it is mainly about bankroll optimization. During a lucky streak, winnings grow, while during a bad streak, the bankroll does not suffer as much. We cannot say that this strategy will definitely bring us any profit. Everything depends only on chance.

Is it worth using the d’Alembert strategy?

It mainly depends on what type of player you are and what you expect from the game. If you want to play smart and are looking for a system that you can stick to, d’Alembert will be ideal for you. With regard to the bankroll, it comes with a lower risk than other strategies and helps to effectively minimize losses.

From the other point of view, however, it cannot guarantee you a profit and everything depends only on whether you are lucky. However, this is the problem with most strategies. So if you get an extremely black streak, which is unlikely, but it can happen, you can lose practically your entire bankroll. It will just take much longer than with other strategies and you can change your mind in time.
