Fibonacci Strategy
The Fibonacci Strategy is named after one of the most talented mathematicians of the Middle Ages, Leonardo Bonacci, or Leonardo of Pisa. Fibonacci is his nickname, which he received only in the 19th century from the historian Guillaume Libri.
It is not entirely known when his strategy began to be used for the game of roulette. However, unlike some other strategies, we can say with a clear conscience that he himself never got around to playing roulette as such. He died more than 400 years before it was first spun.
The strategy is applied not only in roulette and other gambling games with a 1 to 1 payout ratio, but also in business sectors. Its goal is primarily to optimize losses in relation to wins and is generally considered a rather conservative approach when followed.
