It is a combination bet, which means that it focuses on dividing one larger bet into several smaller ones so that they cover as many numbers in roulette as possible. It can also be enriched with negative progressiveness, where the bet increases with each loss and decreases with each win. You may know this system from the Martingale strategy.

Unlike other strategies, this one does not only bet on straight bets, or bets with a payout ratio of 1 to 1 (black/red, even/odd, high/low 18), but also bets on six numbers and even one number.

And because of the bet on one number 0, it is not possible to apply this strategy on other types of roulette than European and French. This is for the simple reason that American roulette has two zeros.

Total bet: £200

1 bet on high 18 – £140  (if you win, the net profit is £80)

2 bet on six 13 – 18 – £50  (if you win, the net profit is £100)

3 bet on number 0 – £10 (if you win, the net profit is £160)

This example will demonstrate how the James Bond strategy can work in practice. For this example, we will not be doubling your bet on every loss.

We can see that with high bets, one loss is enough and the profit drops very quickly. On the other hand, after just a few winning rounds, it is possible to quickly get back into the black again. The James Bond strategy is really about luck, just like all strategies, and it serves primarily to diversify the game.

If we enriched the strategy with a system of doubling the bet on each loss, just like with the Martingale strategy, we could expect interesting results with a little luck. When you win after a series of losses, you will eventually receive all your losses back + one time more of your original bet. However, due to the high bets, this requires a really high bankroll, which can be a problem, for example, with casino limits.

Is it worth using the James Bond strategy?

If you are the type of player who wants to spice up the gaming experience or feel like the legendary agent 007, you can definitely try this strategy. And if you are lucky, you can make a really nice and quick profit. It is very easy to understand and anyone can apply it. However, like all strategies, this one is not 100% and carries risks.

It requires a high bankroll, because you are working with high bets, which can increase during a series of losses and you can quickly go bankrupt. You also have to think about the limits of some casinos, which could prevent you from making higher bets.
