Strange odds for the All or Nothing lottery
No, there’s no error in the table. The probability of hitting all 12 numbers and the probability of hitting zero numbers is 1 in 2,704,156, but the probability of winning the jackpot is 1 in 1,352,078. This is due to the fact that in both cases, whether you guess 12 or 0 numbers, you win the jackpot and so the probability of winning the jackpot is halved and it is “only” 1 : 1.35 million.
Can you increase the odds of winning the All or Nothing lottery?
There is virtually no way to increase the odds of winning the All or Nothing lottery because it is pure mathematics and probability that cannot be beaten. However, there are two ways to increase the odds of winning a little:
- Place bets on multiple columns on a single betting slip (up to 40 columns can be bet on an online betting slip).
- Betting multiple full bets at the same time
Each column wagered represents a unique 12-digit combination that may just be the one drawn in the draw. The more unique combinations wagered, the higher the chances of winning.
All or Nothing lottery subscription
Before we go into a detailed description of how and where you can bet on this lottery, here’s some information about the subscription service that the All or Nothing lottery offers.
With the All or Nothing lottery, you have the option to choose whether you want to place your online bet on just the next draw or whether you want to place your bet on multiple consecutive draws.
All or Nothing lottery subscription options
- For the following draw only
- All draws in the following week (2 draws)
- For a specific number of subsequent draws
- By Direct Debit
The option to place a bet on the following draws is clear and does not need to be described at length. In short, every bet placed in the lottery, unless you change it, is placed on the next draw. Alternatively, you can select the “Every Draw” option to enter your bet into every draw for one week. Your bet will then be included in two draws.
Betting on a specific number of draws is a little trickier, but nothing you can’t figure out in a few sentences. As part of your All or Nothing lottery bet, you can choose which of the two draw days of the week you want to bet on (you can also bet on both). And then you can specify how many weeks in advance you want to place your bet. You have a choice of 1 – 5 weeks with two draws per week. You can buy up to 10 draws in advance.
If you don’t feel like 10 draws are enough, you have a fourth option and that is to bet by Direct Debit. This option means that your bet is automatically renewed every week, with the whole process being charged to you at monthly intervals. This way you don’t have to worry about ever missing any draws or not being able to place your bet on time, a Direct Deposit bet will always make sure that this can never happen to you.
