To win, you need to uncover a “WIN” symbol. The prize you receive will be shown directly below it. If you uncover a 2X symbol, your prize will be double the amount of the prize symbol. Similarly, finding a 5X play symbol will grant you five times the value of the prize symbol.

Prizes up to and including £500 – you can claim these amount of prizes from most retailers, but some of them can only pay £50 cash.
£500+ up to and including £50,000 – go to the official website national-lottery.co.uk/prize. After that, you have to fill in the online form to be able to get the prize. They’ll tell you when to post your ticket or scratchcard on their website.
